3rd Annual Wide-Format Summit, July 2023

This July, Kristen will be returning to the 3rd Annual Wide-format Summit. This invitation-only, relationship-building event takes place July 24 – 26, 2023, at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The summit is produced by Wide-format Impressions and Printing United Alliance, both part of NAPCO Media. The producers describe the event as “the leading educational and networking event for wide-format professionals who are contemplating their strategic and technology futures.”

Kristen is speaking on Tuesday, July 25 at 11:10 AM. In her presentation, Diving into Decor, she will provide advice on building a successful business plan for this exciting vertical market. Kristen recently joined Denise Gustavson, the editorial director for PRINTING United Alliance, via Zoom. During their conversation, she shared a sneak peek at what to expect at Kristen’s presentation. Watch the short conversation here.

Features of the 3rd Annual Wide-Format Summit:

Opening keynote presentation, “How to Thrive in a More Competitive Landscape,” by Marco Boer, Vice President of IT Strategies and an advisory board member of the Wide-Format Summit.

M&A specialist Peter Schaefer of New Direction Partners will discuss the issues business owners must consider as they decide whether to grow organically, acquire or merge with strategic partners, or sell their companies. 

Principal Analyst Lisa Cross of NAPCO Research will share insights and trends from a study probing print buyers’ needs.

NAPCO Editorial Director and Summit Co-Chair Denise Gustavson will conduct an interview with an experienced print buyer.

Other program highlights include:

  • “Finding Deeper Opportunity with Web-to-Print Technology,” with print executives sharing their successes and challenges in automating the customer interface.
  • “Finding and Retaining New Workers,” an interactive panel where executives share approaches they’ve taken to address the labor pool shortage.
  • “How to Survive and Thrive in this Tumultuous Market,” where Gustavson and PRINTING United Alliance Chief Economist Andy Paparozzi will look at how print executives must prepare for the economic challenges that lay ahead while devoting equal attention to new market opportunities.
